Property Summary:

Located approximately 33 miles south of Cleveland, Medwick is strategically located at the hub of Medina County. Medwick is in the most significant section of the Medina, Ohio’s retail trade area in a concentrated one-mile strip with Medwick in the center. Other tenants include Marshalls, Shoe Carnival, Sally Beauty, Dress Barn, Bath & Body Works,  Advanced Auto Parts, Dollar Tree, and other well-known brands.

The center benefits from strong national outparcel tenants in front of it including eateries such as Taco Bell, McDonalds, Duncan Donuts, Dragon Buffet, Domino’s Pizza, and Subway. These, and several other outparcel tenants, provide strong traffic to the center with a roadway that serves both Medwick and the outparcel tenants. Customers of the outparcel tenants must enter Medwick to get to their chosen outparcel destination. These outparcel eateries provide what could be considered a “food court” which delivers traffic to the center promoting cohesiveness to the operation of the center. While the outparcel tenants, except for one, are not part of the Medwick’s ownership, the center greatly benefits from their traffic.

There is a Target store immediately to the South and Walmart Super Center (opened in 2005) immediately to the North providing retail trade to frequent this area. Other large retailers within a quarter of a mile on either side would include Kohl’s, Home Depot, Regal Cinemas, PetSmart, JoAnn, Bed Bath & Beyond, Harbor Freights, Pet Supplies Plus, Hobby Lobby, Pier One

Imports, Staples and restaurants like Ruby Tuesday, Eat n Park, Five Guys, Applebee’s, Bob Evans, Longhorn, Quaker Steak n Lube, Chipotle, KFC, Little Caesars (in addition to the 7 eateries in the Medwick Marketplace) and other grocers including Buehlers, Giant Eagle, and Aldi.

The city of Medina is closely tied to the heavily populated suburbs to the North and East. Medina is part of the Cleveland SMSA yet retains its own identity and small city atmosphere. Medina is also part of the 12th largest populated region in the U.S. known as Northeast Ohio consisting of 18 counties with a population of over 4 million. Medina continues to grow in population and is participating in the current housing construction boom. Today, it is the 6th fastest growing county in the State of Ohio and is the fastest growing county in the 18 county Northeast Ohio Region. Medina serves as the county seat for Medina County, Ohio.
