Fairborn is a city in Greene County, Ohio, with a population of approximately 33,000 people and part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area. Dayton is the sixth-largest city in the state of Ohio and the county seat of Montgomery County. In the 2010 census, the population was 141,759, and the Dayton metropolitan area had 799,232 residents, making it Ohio’s fourth-largest metropolitan area.
